Used Equipment Terms

Please read before buying or selling.

Sold as-is by the seller

Equipment in the Clover Croft Used Farm Equipment market is owned and sold by independent sellers. Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, Clover Croft Supply Co. does not own, inspect, test, repair, warrant or guarantee any listed equipment. All items are sold as-is, where-is, with any faults, whether known or unknown.

Clover Croft's role

Clover Croft provides a place to list and find used equipment. We are not a party to the sale between buyer and seller. Payment, deposits, pickup, delivery, shipping and any agreement about the sale are arranged directly between buyer and seller.

Buyer responsibilities

Ask the seller questions and request additional photos or video.
Inspect the equipment in person, or have someone you trust inspect it, before paying when possible.
Confirm that the equipment meets any requirements that apply to your use, including state dairy regulations if you sell milk.
Clean and sanitize all milk-contact surfaces, and replace rubber parts, before first use.

Seller responsibilities

You must own the equipment or have the right to sell it.
Describe condition honestly and disclose known defects, missing parts and needed repairs.
Photos and video must show the actual item being sold.

Listings we may remove

We may remove any listing at our discretion, including listings that are misleading, incomplete, duplicated, or for items we don't allow.

Inspected listings

If a listing carries an Inspected badge in the future, the listing will state who inspected the equipment, on what date, and exactly what was checked. An inspection describes what was observed on that date and is not a warranty of future performance.
